Crane on the fence
Walked outside to water the lawn and was surprised to find this huge bird on the fence. Surprisingly, he let me get pretty close, I didn't think he would. The odd thing is that two days earlier a dove flew into the garage and sat on the roof of my car as I mowed the lawn. I didn't see him until I came into the garage to put up the lawn mower. The dove also did not fly away as I approached, as a matter of fact, I had to push him gently so that he would fly out of the garage.

I guess there is something to say about the physical contact and direct line of creation the type writer provides which seemingly is lost when using computers.

Pops with tots
I went to meet Logan at school for a dad-only event. A time for dads to spend some recess time playing and eating a popsicle - Logan ate his and mine.
no popsicle for you!

A romantic weekend to ourselves
Jen and I stayed at the Gaylord Texas for the weekend in Grapevine, Tx - near Dallas.
Had a wonderful, grown-up, time.

Building implosion
Last Sunday we drove into town to watch a building implosion. Very impressive. Not the best viewing position but, what are going to do?
Check out the video. . . I wished I would have zoomed-in.

Logan: rocket man
Today we launched Logan's rockets in the field next to the house. After we launched the white rocket, we had to track over to the crash site - we must have walked a mile and a half.
